Mark co founded Inter Engineering which connects, informs and empowers LGBT engineers and supporters. Under Mark’s leadership, the organisation has grown to a membership of over 300 engineers and engages prominent engineering institutes and employers.  Mark is a safety engineer in oil and gas at KBR and is leading the diversity and inclusion strategy for the company. He was commissioned by the House of Commons to prepare a report for the UK Government on tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in the engineering sector which, published in November 2015 and is now working with the Government on implementation of the recommended measures. He was ranked number 2 in the 2015 Financial Times Future LGBT Leaders, and was shortlisted as a “Corporate Rising Star” in the 2016 British LGBT Awards.
