Peter came out when he started his undergraduate studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies in 1974 and has been a gay activist throughout his career in a range of LGBT and HIV/AIDS organisations. Peter was the main founder of the LGBT network at LBS in 1996, and is the staff sponsor of Out in Business. He is a member of the EurOUT Advisory Board, ensuring the active support of the LBS Administration for the conference. In his role as Senior Admissions Manager for the Masters in Finance at LBS Peter has championed outreach to LGBT candidates, the ReachingOut scholarship programme, and the opportunity for candidates to self-identify during their application process for the whole portfolio of LBS Programmes. Peter lives in North London with Patrick, his partner of 20 years, and their puppy and kitten – Pugslina and Mogwai.
